Phosphorus calibration analysis for rice crop in greenhouse
Soils of Central Brazil in their native state are deficient in phosphorus. Te obtain high productivity in these soils, application of P is essential. There is limited information about P calibration in soils for rice crop. Therefore, a greenhouse experiment was conducted to establish correlation between P-test in soil and productivity utilizing three rice cultivars (IAC 47, IAC 164, IR 43). Critical P level in the soil studied varied between cultivars and with the stage of development. Soil test rating for P is presented for each cultivar at different growth stages. These results can serve as a guide for greenhouse experiments utilizing rice as a test crop.

Para se obter alta produtividade nesses solos, á necessário que se faça adubação fosfatada. Como existe pouca informação sobre a calibração de análise de P para arroz, foi conduzido um experimento, em casa de vegetação, a fim de estabelecer a correlação entre o teor de P no solo e a produção de matéria seca da parte aérea da planta, utilizando-se três cultivares (IAC 47, IAC 164 e IR 43), em diferentes estágios de crescimento. Os níveis críticos de P no solo, em relação à produção relativa, variaram entre cultivares e estágios de crescimento. A classificação de teor de P foi apresentada para cada cultivar, em diferentes estágios de desenvolvimento da planta, e pode servir de guia para experimentos em casa de vegetação com a cultura do arroz.
