Gender-Based Violence Againts Women Alert as public policy tool?

Gender-Based Violence Againts Women Alert comprises a series of processes that, when viewed superficially, may cause it to be identified as a public policy. However, the way it has been designed and implemented also sometimes makes it considered as a policy instrument. The objective of this article is to identify the characteristics of the Alert of Gender Violence Against Women so that in the future it can be analyzed and studied from the perspective of public policy instruments.

La Alerta de Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres comprende una serie de procesos que vista superficialmente pueden ocasionar que se identifique como una política pública, sin embargo, la manera en la que ha sido diseñada e implementada también en ocasiones la hace ser considerada como un instrumento de política. El objetivo de este artículo es identificar las características que tiene la Alerta de Violencia de Género contra las Mujeres para que en un futuro puedan ser analizadas y estudiada desde la óptica de los instrumentos de política pública.
