Geographic Distribution and Morphology of Rebutia tarijensis (Cactaceae, Cactoideae)

Rebutia tarijensis was described for Tarija in the south of Bolivia, it is mentioned for the first time for the flora of Argentinean. This species was identi- fied in Argentinean, Dpto. Iruya-Salta, in an environment of high grasslands and subalpine me- sophytic scrub. Rebutia tarijensis is described morphologically and palynologically, highlighting the main differences with the Argentinean species, including images, figures of the species and distribution map. In addition the palynological collection of reference of the genus, family and subfamily is extended.
