Geographic Distribution and Morphology of Rebutia tarijensis (Cactaceae, Cactoideae)

Rebutia tarijensis was described for Tarija in the south of Bolivia, it is mentioned for the first time for the flora of Argentinean. This species was identi- fied in Argentinean, Dpto. Iruya-Salta, in an environment of high grasslands and subalpine me- sophytic scrub. Rebutia tarijensis is described morphologically and palynologically, highlighting the main differences with the Argentinean species, including images, figures of the species and distribution map. In addition the palynological collection of reference of the genus, family and subfamily is extended.

Rebutia tarijensis que fue descripta para Tarija en el sur de Bolivia, se cita por primera vez para la flora de la Argentina. Esta especie se identificó en la Argentina, Dpto. Iruya, Salta, en ambiente de pastizales de altura y matorrales mesofíticos subalpinos. Rebutia tarijensis se describe morfológica y palinológicamente, se destacan las principales diferencias con las especies Argentinas, se incluyen imágenes, figuras de la especie y mapa de distribución. Además se amplía la colección palinológica de referencia del género, familia y subfamilia.
