Change of textural density as an indicator of the instability in coarse-textured soils
Textural density was determined for samples receiving different treatments of dynamic compaction. The samples were obtained from a coarse textural soil submitted to three different agricultural managements. Increases in the values of the textural densities were obtained for all samples including these representing the virgin soil.
