Avifauna of Jujuy Province (Argentina): list of species (Passeriformes)
The birds of Jujuy Province, Argentina, are analyzed based on two main sources: specimens housed in the Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales of Buenos Aires, Félix de Azara Collection, (Buenos Aires), Museo de La Plata (La Plata), Fundación Miguel Lillo (Tucumán), Insituto Argentino de Investigaciones de las Zonas Aridas (Mendoza) and from bibliographical citations which include precise localities. A list of 299 species is presented. First records with precise localities are provided for 12 species. New localities are cited for 203 species.
