Avifauna of Mendoza province, Argentina: list of species (non-Passeriformes)

Non-Passerine birds of Mendoza province, Argentina, were analyzed based upon two main sources: bibliographical records, which include precise localities, and data obtained from specimens housed in Museo Argentino de Ciencias Naturales de Buenos Aires (MACN), Museo de La Plata (MLP), Colección Ornitológica Fundación Miguel Lillo, Tucumán (COFML) and Instituto Argentino de Investigaciones de las Zonas Aridas, Mendoza (IADIZA). A list of 173 species belonging to 39 families is presented. New localities for 47 species are reported.
