New diet record of Erythrolamprus ceii (Serpentes: Dipsadidae)
The genus Erytholamprus Boie 1826 includes more than 50 species distributed in Central and South America, occuping a diversity of habitats and using a great variety of resources, including preys such as mammals, birds, reptiles, amphibians, fish, and occasionally even insects. Some of them are specialist, restricting their diet to specific groups, while others are generalist, and consuming different types of prey. The diet of E. ceii was known as based only on fish and amphibians at different stages of development; we added reptiles, specifically lizards, to the preys that this species eat.
