Akodon andinus dolichonyx (Philippi) (Rodentia, Cricetidae) in Tucumán Province, Argentina

The presence of Akodon andinus dolichonyx (Philippi) in Tucumán Province, is confirmed based on captures and observations in Alto de las Nieves, Cumbres Calchaquies, Departamento Tafí, 4250 meters above sea level. Morphometric comparisons with Akodon andinus andinus are made, and measurements are presented to distinguish the subspecies. The name Akodon andinus dolichonyx (Philippi) is ratified for the northern subespecies.
