Terminal Evaluation of the UNEP Project GEF ID 5776: Supply Change: Securing Food, Sustaining Forests
This report is a terminal evaluation of a UNEP -GEF project implemented between 2015 and 2017.The project's overall development goal was to "inform and promote the integration of public policies and private finances in order to scale up and mainstream forest, biodiversity and ecosystem conservation in commodity production landscapes". The evaluation sought to assess project performance (in terms of relevance, effectiveness and efficiency), and determine outcomes and impacts (actual and potential) stemming from the project, including their sustainability. The evaluation has two primary purposes: (i) to provide evidence of results to meet accountability requirements, and (ii) to promote learning, feedback, and knowledge sharing through results and lessons learned among UNEP, the GEF and their executing partner Forest Trends and the relevant agencies of the project participating countries.
