Alumeda solorzanokraemerae sp. nov. from the Miocene Mexican Amber (Hemiptera: Heteroptera, Reduviidae, Emesinae)
Abstract: A new fossil emesine reduviid from the Middle Miocene Mexican amber from the Simojovel- Alumeda solorzanokraemerae sp. nov. - is described and illustrated. This is the second record of Reduviidae: Emesinae in Mexican amber and the fifth from the New World contemporaneous (Dominican amber) fossil resin.
