La política exterior brasileña : balance y perspectivas
An analysis an evaluation of the perspectives of Brazilian foreign policy require an examination of the norms that govern the current modalities of the organization of the world order, within which Brazil is inserted. The fact is that there is a diversified importance of external factors in internal growth and the increasing complexity of the administrative management of Brazil's foreign policy. In an era marked by industrial and technological confrontation and by the internationalization of the world economy, the basic theme of Brazilian foreign policy is the definition of the country's insertion strategy in the international system, which is characterized by the term “Responsible pragmatism”, a position that nevertheless clashes with Brazil's vulnerability in energy matters.

El análisis y evaluación de las perspectivas de la política exterior brasileña exigen un examen de las normas que rigen las modalidades actuales de la organización del orden mundial, dentro del cual se inserta el Brasil. Y es que existe una importancia diversificada de los factores externos en el crecimiento interno y la complejidad creciente de la gestión administrativa de la política externa del Brasil. En una era señalada por la confrontación industrial y tecnológica y por la internacionalización de la economía mundial, el tema básico de la política exterior brasileña es el de la definición de la estrategia de inserción del país en el sistema internacional, que se caracteriza con el término “pragmatismo responsable”, posición que sin embargo choca con la vulnerabilidad brasileña en materia energética.
