Hacia ádonde va el Japón

In this article, the author briefly presents an opinion on the economic, cultural and political future of Japan. On the economic level, he maintains that the Japanese miracle will continue to grow, albeit at a slower pace, with all the implications of the transformation of its economy. The cultural and political consequences will have to do with economic development and affect the very soul of its population. Education has fulfilled the role of assimilating techniques and culture born in the West, perhaps to the detriment of the due appreciation of its own values. Finally, on the political level, reference is made to the perspectives of the shadow cast by socialism over Asia and the implications of Japanese foreign policy.
