Correction of a no-union of the half body of the proximal sesamoideus using sodium oleatum, mesenquimatic tissue and quelates ficocolloid
The authors inform the case of horse wich showed a four-month-old of connection/attachment in the proximal median sesamoid bone of the right front/anterior limbo Taking in account de the time that had passed, the scarse limited osteogenic, ability of connective tissue surrounding the sesamoid bone, and the failure of the operation, the implant was removed and the treatrnent was decided with a combination of sodium oleato, mesenchimatous tissue and ficocoiloides monodental, in situ over the interruption. This formula was applied every 72 hs during 3 weeks and then once a week during 6 weeks. At the sometimes abone regenerative was administrated orally. When the applications were finished, the horse was kept at rest for 5 months. After that period, the correction ofthe defect was verifiedusin X rays

After that period, the correction ofthe defect was verifiedusin X rays Los autores comunican un caso de un equino que presentaba una no unión de cuatro meses de antigüedad en el hueso sesamoideo proximal medial del miembro anterior derecho. Considerando el tiempo transcurrido, la escasa capacidad osteogénica del tejido conectivo que rodea al sesamoideo y el fracaso de la intervención quirúgica, en una segunda instancia le fue extraído el implante y se resolvió su tratamiento con una combinación de oleato de sodio, tejido mesenquimático y ficocoloides que1atados mono dentados (QMD) in situ sobre la solución de continuidad. La formulación se aplicó cada 72 horas durante tres semanas y luego una vez por semana durante seis semanas, simultáneamente y en forma oral se suministró un osteorregenerador.
