Paterson, Jamaica’s Prime Minister says that his government is seeking a compatible international partner to be strategic part of the merger between BWIA and Air Jamaica, in order to provide the linkages and management expertise that the Caribbean air carriers need – Gary Allan reports (00:26 -03:35). 2. Representatives of the governments of France, Canada, Venezuela and the US met in Paris to call the for the intensification of sanctions against Haiti and sending a high level military delegation to convince those in power to comply with UN resolutions – Andrew Bell of the BBC Paris Bureau reports (03:36 - 05:36). 3. A small group of members of the British Union for the Abolition of Vivisection (BUAV) staged a protest outside the offices of the Barbados Tourist Authority office in London regarding the transporting monkeys destined for scientific experimentation in research laboratories.
