On the agenda there are plans for a ministerial debate on Montserrat, Deputy Chief Minister of Montserrat, Adelina Tuitt is expected to address the conference to brief ministers on what is happening in Montserrat and what help the region and individual states are prepared to make to help the island. Carol Orr reports (00:34-02:48) 3. Journalist Keith Stone Greaves interviews Adelina Tuitt, Deputy Chief Minister of Montserrat asking her what help Montserrat is likely to request from Caricom leaders (02:49-04:21) 4. In Britain the Charity Christian Aid has raised concerns for the safety and well being of Montserratians. Jasmine Huggins, Christian Aid Programme Officer is interviewed (04:22-06:09) 5. More and more questions are being asked about special provisions to allow residents of Montserrat, a British dependency, to travel to the United Kingdom. Rueben Meade, former Chief Minister is interviewed (06:10-07:44) 6. Much of today's talks at the Caricom Heads of Government Summit were assessing the progress made so far in setting up a single market and economy and rationalising the existing policy toward marketing the region's banana. Prime Minister of Barbados, Owen Arthur, St Lucia's Prime Minister, Kenny Anthony and Fritz Lesher of Haiti are interviewed (07:45-11:08) 7. The representative of Anguilla in London Urville Hughes is confident that his country and Britain could overcome pass disagreements over the powers wielded by governors.
