At the 12th Caricom Heads of Government Conference in St. Kitts, the leaders have agreed to tackle the major elements of the West Indian Commission’s Interim Report on Caribbean integration. Hugh Crosskill reports that five Caricom leaders have accepted responsibility for seeing the recommendations through to implementation. Comments from the Chair of the Commission Sir Shridath Ramphal and Prime Minister of Barbados Erskine Sandiford are featured.
