Abies religiosa Kundt Schltdl. et Cham., es una especie de gran importancia por su valor económico, ambiental, estético y recreativo. Teniendo como objetivos incrementar el porcentaje de germinación de Abies religiosa mediante la inmersión de las semillas en agua a diferentes temperaturas y tiempos. La semilla empleada para esta investigación fue recolectada en el año 2015 y posterior mente almacenada, siendo obtenida gracias a la donación por parte de la (CORENA). El experimento se llevó a cabo en las instalaciones del Colegio de Postgraduados Campus Montecillo con coordenadas (19°27'38.64"N y 98°54'24.76"O) con el propósito de incrementar el porcentaje de germinación en semillas de esta especie. Se emplearon cinco temperaturas (10, 20 ,30 ,40 y 50 °C) y 13 tiempos transformados en segundos (10, 20, 40, 60, 600, 1200, 1800, 2400, 3000, 3600, 7200, 14400 y 21600) teniendo un total de 65 tratamientos con 30 repeticiones, considerando a la temperatura ambiente como tratamiento testigo. Teniendo un Valor Pico (PV) de 8.56 y un Número de Días para alcanzar el Valor Pico (NDPV) de 11. 74. Obteniendo un 73% como el porcentaje mayor de germinación al someter la semilla a una temperatura 40°C y un tiempo de 7200s y un 14 % de germinación como el porcentaje menor de todos los tratamientos en las siguientes combinaciones (10 °C x 20s y 10 °C x 40s), se obtuvieron porcentajes mayores al 50 % en diferentes tratamientos. Se determinó que las semillas de Abies religiosa es capaz de tolerar temperaturas más altas por periodos de tiempo cortos. _______________ SEXUAL AND ASEXUAL PROPAGATION OF Abies religiosa (Kunth Schltdl. et Cham.). ABSTRACT: Abies religiosa Kundt Schltdl. et Cham. is a species of great importance for its economic, environmental, aesthetic and recreational value. The objectives were to increase the germination percentage of Abies religiosa by immersing the seeds in water at different temperatures and times. The seed used for this research was collected in 2015 and subsequently stored, being obtained thanks to a donation from CORENA. The experiment was carried out in the facilities of the Colegio de Postgraduados Campus Montecillo with coordinates (19°27'38.64 "N and 98°54'24.76 "W) with the purpose of increasing the germination percentage in seeds of this species. Five temperatures (10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 °C) and 13 times transformed in seconds (10, Ta, 40, 60, 600, 1200, 1800, 2400, 3000, 3600, 7200, 14400 and 21600) were used for a total of 65 treatments with 30 replications, considering room temperature as the control treatment. Having a Peak Value (PV) of 8.56 and a Number of Days to Reach Peak Value (NDPV) of 11.74. Obtaining 73% as the highest germination percentage when the seed was subjected to a temperature of 40°C and a time of 7200s and 14% germination as the lowest percentage of all treatments in the following combinations (10°C x 20s and 10°C x 40s), percentages higher than 50% were obtained in different treatments. It was determined that Abies religiosa seeds are able to tolerate higher temperatures for short periods of time.
