Aerial photographs and sea-buckthorn classification results

Aerial photographs were used to map the cover of sea-buckthorn (Hippophae rhamnoides L.) in the eastern part of the Wadden Island of Ameland (53°27'43"N, 5° 54'12"E). The aerial photgraphs in this dataset were mosaicked, georectified and georeferenced before applying a supervised classification to map sea-buckthorn cover. More information can be found in the publication entitled: "Population dynamics of the shrub sea-buckthorn as indicator of sea-level rise and insect outbreaks". In the zipped datafile, a document describing the data in each folder can be found.
