Evaluatie voortgang PvA naar meer natuurlijke geboorten bij luxe vleesvee
UK At the request of the Ministry of Agriculture, Wageningen Livestock Research has carriedout an initial evaluation of the progress of the plan of action (PvA) 'Towards more natural births'concerning beef cattle (Belgian Blue and ‘Verbeterd Roodbont’). In addition, based on genetic keyindicators it is calculated how the percentage of natural births will develop until 2035, anddevelopments in acceptance of more natural births among stakeholders are evaluated. The conclusionis that substantial steps have been taken. The expected percentage of natural births is still laggingbehind the objective. It is possible to reach the target if several factors are improved simultaneously
