In this study the HighRise 1 system is evaluated on different topics. The study shows that the housing system has potential to reduce fine dust emissions. However, hens hardly use the bedding floor, which asks for technical optimizations. Further research on an optimized system can give more information about the practical implementation and dust reduction potential in practice
