A Project for a multi-media package for the in-service training of primary school teachers
Inservice teacher education for primary school teachers will be provided through a 12-day course in science instruction in 2400 selected villages in six states in India. A combination of educational media and materials will be used - including television, radio, guides and enrichment materials. The television programmes will be relayed by the ATS-6 satellite. It is planned to organize three more series of such courses in order to reach 96.000 teachers.
