Executive Board paper reporting on recent decisions taken by various UN bodies concerning the recommendations adopted by the UN Conference on Science and Technology for Development, refers in particular to UN General Assembly Resolution 34/218 establishing the administrative and financial mechanisms for the follow-up of the Vienna Programme of Action, among which are the Intergovernmental Committee on Science and Technology for Development and the UN Interim Fund for Science and Technology for Development, includes the text of the above-mentioned resolution
