The meeting of Presidents and Secretaries-General of African Chambers of Commerce for the establishment of the Federation of African Chambers of Commerce was held in Cairo.- Egypt, from 31 October to 4 November 1933*. It was officially opened by His Excellency, Dr. Fouad Mohy El Din, prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, and opening statements were made by Professor Adebayo Adedeji, United Nations Under-Secretary General and Executive Secretary of the Economic Commission for Africa and Mr. Ezzat Gedan, President of the Federation of Egyptian Chambers of Commerce.
