Follow-up action on relevant resolutions adopted by the twenty-sixth session of the Commission/Seventeenth meeting of the Conference of Ministers
The twenty-sixth session of the Commission/seventeenth meeting of the Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic Development and Planning was held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, from 9 to 13 May 1991. The meeting adopted 21 resolutions embracing most of the issues discussed by the Conference. Some of those resolutions were specifically addressed to the United Nations General Assembly through the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), some were addressed to member States and international organizations and others were addressed to the EGA Executive Secretary. The purpose of the present document is to appraise the meeting with the actions taken by the secretariat towards the implementation of these resolutions.
