Systems of innovation, competitiveness and natural resources in Africa
The paper deals about a number of sectors across the developing world the process of transformation into innovation systems has already begun. In this paper, we draw on these to illustrate the principles behind this 'innovation system' approach in three distinct non-fuel commodity product (NFCP) groups of special importance in Africa: food & beverages, agricultural raw materials and non-fuel mineral.
