African tourism fair

Trade fairs and exhibitions are privileged ways of ensuring the promotion of a product through the establishment of direct contact between the producer, the merchant and the consumer. This type of promotion is increasingly being utilized in Africa where more and more countries have equipped themselves with centers for international fairs. With regard to the promotion of tourism itself, it has been the tradition to encourage African States to participate in trade fairs organized by the country of origin of international tourists. The main areas of these activities have been western Europe, primarily in the EEC member States.
