Development of tourism in Africa : reflections on certain aspects of tourism in Africa
Modern tourism is not only an economic activity. Tourism is, in essence, a harmonious mix of activities and attitudes, whose primary justification is the fulfillment of a psychological urge. It is for this reason that a tourist is defined as a person who, motivated by peaceful and non-profit making intentions, goes out to other places and to meet other people. Although, the human dimension in the movement of people has sometimes been overshadowed by the activities of tithe Temple money changers", it should not be forgotten that the tourist seeks, first and foremost, to enrich his experience of the people and things that he visits.
