This Facilitator's Guide is proposed for use during training workshops in monitoring and evaluation (M&E) for national and sectoral Monitoring and Evaluation Officers in gender mainstreaming from the 5 sub-regions in Africa. It is designed to equip the participants with skills of monitoring and evaluating gender mainstreaming into national policies, strategies and programmes, familiarize them with the proposed M&E Tool and enable them to interpret and report on the results. The Facilitators will use the participatory learning methodology.
