Report of the African conference on freedoms of the air : Mbabane Swaziland 19 to 23 November 1984

The African Conference on Freedoms of the Air was held in Mbabane, Swaziland, from 19 to 23 November 1984 at the invitation of the Government of the Kingdom of Swaziland. The present conference was sufficient evidence of the awareness by Africans of the gravity of the problems they had to overcome. Efforts had been made to find solutions and resolutions had been passed but unfortunately it seemed that there was a lack of enthusiasm for their implementation. The Commission’s activities include the joint organization with ICAO of the first Conference on African Air Transport and its unceasing efforts to carry out the programme for the transport and Communications Decade in Africa.
