Survey of economic and social conditions in the African least developed countries

This study seeks to summarize the economic and social situation in the African least developed countries and the external assistance received by these countries. It consists of three parts- The first part outlines the overall growth, sectoral trends and the development of public finances and foreign trade. The second part deals with the main characteristics of the economic and social policies carried out in the African least developed countries. The third part reviews the economic and social situation in each of those countries.
