Report of the extraordinary meeting of governors of African central banks on the establishment of an African monetary fund
The purpose of the meeting was to take advantage of the expertise of Central Bank Governors to examine the outstanding issues relating to the establishment of the Fund. The meeting was also expected to make concrete proposals through, the Committee of Libreville, to the Conference of Ministers of Finance on how to accelerate the process towards its establishment.
