Mission report : Familarization workshop on monitoring and evaluation programme for the African plan of action to accelerate the implementation of the Dakar and Beijing platforms for action

The main mission objective was to familiarize the Monitoring and Evaluation Officers on the implementation of the Monitoring and Evaluation Programme for the African Plan of Action. The specific objectives were to build the capacity of the Subregional and Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Officers to: Review gender mainstreaming strategies and tools for institutionalizing a gender perspective in Intergovernmental Organizations; Understand the operational mechanism whereby the monitoring and evaluation programme will be implemented; Identify, assess, adapt and effectively use the Subregional and Regional Monitoring and Evaluation Tool.
