Report on the activities of the ECA women in development programme during the period April 1995 to April 1996

This report of the activities undertaken by ECA from April 1995 to April 1996 to promote the advancement of women in Africa is prepared to be reviewed by the Seventeenth meeting of the Africa Regional Coordinating Committee for the Integration of Women in Development (ARCC). The organization of the report will consist of three parts. The first part will review the implementation of the resolutions emanating from ARCC that were adopted by the ECA Conference of Ministers responsible for Economic and Social Development at its twenty-first meeting in May 1995. The second part will cover an analytical account of the rest of the activities while the third part will address the orientation of the activities of 1996.
