ECA statistical activities in 1992-1993, examination of the approved 1994-1995 work programme and provisional work programme 1996-1977
The staffing situation of the UNECA Statistics Division during the biennium 1992-1993 is comparable to that for the biennium 1990- 1991. The Division had an average of 90.5 per cent of the total of professional work-months originally provided for it in the work programme budget, as against 91 per cent for the previous biennium. A list of professional staff of the Division is attached as Annex. It is proposed that the Joint Conference should review the ECA statistical activities during the biennium 1992-1993, taking into account the relevant work programme (Annex II), consider the approved 1994-1995 work programme (Annex III) and the provisional work programme (Annex IV).
