Utilization of price statistics in national accounts at constant prices
The purpose of this document is to illustrate the use of price statistics in national accounts to calculate aggregates at constant prices. The first part deals with the "basic data that must "be collected on prices and corresponding indexes to establish the SNA tables at constant prices. The second part is: devoted to consideration of the sectoral price deflator coefficients utilized by EGA, in its national accounting work for most African countries which have not undertaken estimates at constant prices.
