Feeder links from Ethiopia, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, Malawi and Zambia to the transafricain highway
The construction of the Tan-Zam Highway overshadows .other works, so that no remarkable improvement or surfacing on this section is planned in the second Five-Year Plan (1969-1974) but in the light of the increasing importance of the road-link with Zambia active construction work is expected to begin in the near future.
