Chile - Estados Unidos: comercio agropecuario y forestal.

Estados Unidos, la mayor economía del mundo, ha experimentado una gradual recuperación de los efectos de una fuerte crisis, y en 2012 volvió a ser el segundo socio comercial de Chile. Al mismo tiempo, constituye el segundo principal destino de las exportaciones silvoagropecuarias chilenas. Éstas han experimentado en la última década un crecimiento liderado por los productos agrícolas, el que ha sido fomentado por la firma del Tratado de Libre Comercio en 2003. En este artículo se describen los principales alcances de dicho acuerdo, así como también la evolución y composición del comercio agropecuario y forestal entre las partes.
