[EN]: The chemical and mineralogical composition of the pigments of ceramic pieces from the archaeological bed «Cerro Macareno» (Seville, Spain) has been studied by chemical data, X-ray difraction, electron microscopy, electron microbe, and photo-electron spectroscopy (XPS) methods. 41 of a total 49 studied samples have red pigments, with Fe2CO3 hematite as principal component. The higher proportions of hematite belongs to pieces from V to II centuries b.C. corresponding to the greater development of Cerro Macareno. Only 6 of the examined samples are brilliant black, black or dark decorated. The study by X-ray difraction of the brilliant black pigment on the sample 15-17-1 shows a magnetite-hercinite compound as main responsible for the aspect of the pigment. Nerwertheles, from the XPS data, the presence of the free carbon as a component of this pigment, at least on the surface of the pieces, can not be excluded. [ES]: Se estudia la composición química y mineralógica de los pigmentos de un conjunto de piezas cerámicas antiguas de Cerro Macareno, Sevilla, por datos químicos, difracción de rayos X, microscopía electrónica de barrido, microsonda electrónica y espectroscopia de fotoelectrones (XPS). 41 de las 49 muestras estudiadas tienen pigmentos rojos, con hematites como componente principal. La proporción mayor de hematites corresponde a los pigmentos de piezas de los siglos V a III a.C. coincidiendo con el mayor desarrollo de Cerro Macareno. Solo 6 de las muestras mencionadas tienen pigmentos muy oscuros, negros o negro-brillante. El pigmento negro-brillante de la muestra 15-17-1 contiene un compuesto del grupo magnetita-hercinita que parece ser el responsable del color negro, pero a la vista de los datos de XPS no se puede descartar la presencia de carbono libre, al menos en la capa superficial.
