A new butterfly for the Madrid administrative region (Spain): Polyommatus celina (Austaut, 1879) (Lepidoptera: Lycaenidae)
[EN] The first record of the lycaenid Polyommatus celina (Austaut, 1879) from the Madrid administrative region is confirmed through molecular identification. Two specimens of P. celina were collected in sympatry with one of P. icarus at Embalse de los Morales and, thus, this locality represents a contact zone for these two parapatric cryptic species.
