Agriculture and Ecosystem Services

Sustainable intensification and sustainable land management are needed to reconcile agriculture with the delivery of ecosystem services in a win-win situation. This requires: (i) enhanced knowledge on groecological processes to identify which practices work under different environmental conditions; (ii) modelling and monitoring of key performance indicators for landscape scale assessments; (iii) integrated cost-benefit analysis; and (iii) upscaling of promising practices in coordination with stakeholders.
