FAO Investment Centre Discussion Paper, January 2000
This discussion paper proposes the need to explore more funding mechanisms to meet the World Food Summit goal of halving the number of undernourished persons by 2015. It builds on a number of ideas developed in Information Paper No. 7 prepared for the 25th Session of the Committee on World Food Security (31 May-3 June 1999): Investment in Agriculture for Food Security: Situation and Resource Requirements to Reach the World Food Summit Objectives.
