RuralInvest - Module 1 - Participatory Identification of local investement priorities

RuralInvest was originally developed by staff of the Investment Centre of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in response to requests for a readily usable approach to the identification and preparation of investments much smaller than those traditionally considered in published guidelines. FAO, in cooperation with the multi-agency “Regional Unit for Technical Assistance” (RUTA) in Central America, translated these initial experiences into a general m ethodology and toolkit, which have now been tested in a number of countries with considerable success.
