Bien sabéis, carísimos hermanos, que en los diez meses trascurridos desde que la Providencia Divina nos llamó á gobernar la Iglesia Metropolitana, hemos trabajado sin descanso en beneficio de nuestra grey, para satisfacer nuestra conciencia y conducir las ovejas puestas á nuestro cuidado á la eterna bienaventuranza.
