Parametric pyrolysis experiments on a two-stage gasifier
This paper deals with some experiments realised on a two-stage gasifier previously described [1]. The main purpose is to understand tars cracking in a two-stage gasifier. Parameters investigated are pyrolysis temperature, residence time, and wood chips flow- rate. Their influence on pyrolysis products such as charcoal, liquids and gases is analysed in terms of quantity and quality. It appears that temperature has a much remarked effect on the products [2]; it also involves an impact on the other variables.
