Rubber agroforestry systems potential development in Thailand through the SRAP/INCO/EU funding proposal. Preliminary mission in Thailand, 20 to 26th of May 1997

Cette mission avait pour but d'étudier les possibilités de mise en route en Thaïlande d'un projet de recherche sur les systèmes agroforestiers à base d'hévéa (RAS) comparable au SRAP (Smallhoder Rubber Agroforestry Project) qui est en cours en Indonésie et qui est présenté en introduction du rapport. La faculté de foresterie de l'université de Kasetsart à Bangkok assurera un soutien technique, en particulier pour l'identification des arbres entrant dans les RAS. A Hat Yai (université Prince of Songkla, faculté des ressources naturelles), l'auteur a rencontré les doyens ainsi que 3 scientifiques qui participeront au projet et un membre du RRIT (Rubber Research Institute of Thailand).
