The 1986 Final Report of the international maize testing program covers trials sent out in 1986 and for which date were received from July 16, 1987, to December 15, 1987; It also Includes an addendum reporting data that were received late for 1985 trials. 1986 trial data that are received after December 15, 1987, will be Included In the 1987 Preliminary Report. These reports are the end product of carefully conducted trials and the timely return of complete and accurate data by hundreds of trial cooperators, whose participation is extremely valuable in the development of superior germplasm for maize farmers In developing countries.
