Realising the Rural Telephony Project
Realising the Rural Telephony Project, Vanguard (Lagos), November 2002 For most Nigerians, the most significant achievement of the Obasanjo administration is the successful implementation of GSM telephony in Nigeria. Pressure from the successful implementation of GSM has made it mandatory for other operators to sit up and be innovative if they are to stay in business.
