TDRI + LRDC = ODNRI
A new acronym has entered the vocabulary of development assistance: ODNRI. It stands for the Overseas Development Natural Resources Institute and is the result of the amalgamation of the Tropical Development and Research Institute and the Land Resources Development Centre. This reorganization of part of the U.K. Overseas Development Administration (ODA), reflects a new confidence in Britain's programmes of technical cooperation.
