Farmers welfare in Ghana
According to Mr. A N Moomen, of the new Agricultural Insurance Scheme and Flight Lieutenant Joe B Atiemo, of the Ghana Cocoa Board, a Farmers' Welfare Fund is to be established in Ghana. The scheme will be funded with 10% of the net profit made by the board in its operation. It will initially benefit cocoa and coffee farmers, who will contribute a certain percentage of their earnings.
